Cancellations
Consistency in therapy can be quite beneficial and I know that life happens. However, I find it most helpful if we both commit to our scheduled time, so please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation or rescheduling is less than 24 hours from your scheduled appointment time. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time.
Insurance
I do not currently accept insurance, however I am able to provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement for services from an out-of-network provider. Not all insurances reimburse for out-of-network services, so it is wise to check with your insurance first to see if this is an option available to you. The following questions may be helpful to you when contacting your insurance company.
- What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
